People love titles, so in no particular order, here are a few of mine: Crazy Cat Lady, Sriracha Sauce Enthusiast, Recovering Mass Effect Junkie.

I have a hard time controlling my tongue. Not because I say the first thing that comes to mind, but because I have a hard time pronouncing certain words. Curse you tartar (TAR-TAR), alphabetized (alphaBETticallized), and Band-Aid (BAND-je-laid). Punctuation fetishes include em-dashes and parenthesisesseseses.

I was born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada, and now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a B.A. in English, a Master of Publishing, and six years’ experience in book publicity and marketing.

When I’m not writing, I love playing story-driven video games and traveling the world. So far, I’ve managed to cross off the following items on my bucket list: singing as part of a choir during mass at the Vatican, watercolor painting inside a Japanese temple, meditating in a lava tube in Hawaii, and sleeping inside a giant dog-shaped bed and breakfast in Idaho.

//FAQ (Actually they’re more like not-so-frequently asked questions but I wanted to include them anyway so there.)

Are you done with your book yet?

Why not?
Just call me slow and steady because that’s how I roll.

What do you do for a living?
I’ve been a hotdog vendor, bookstore clerk, book publicist, marketing director, web designer, technical manual writer, self-published author, knife saleswoman, vet receptionist, pet sitter, volunteer coordinator, and ChaCha guide. All for dirty, dirty money.

Do you ever write naked?
